Hello! I’m Kelli Starbuck. As a Colorado native whose parents run businesses in Colorado, helping small, local companies succeed is highly personal. I started my career in print advertising but quickly transitioned into the digital space. What I discovered during that transition is what inspired Star Strategy. I saw that small to medium-sized businesses were being kicked to the curb by agencies that deemed their budgets “not large enough”, leaving these deserving businesses high and dry and in need of a marketing partner that prioritizes integrity and results.
Star Strategy’s mission is to offer courteous and transparent digital marketing service to all of our clients, regardless of their size. We tailor our solutions to fit each business so that your marketing dollars are spent strategically and with your unique goals in mind.

As the driving force behind Star Strategy Marketing, Kelli is dedicated to helping small businesses succeed with tailored marketing solutions. With years of experience in Local SEO, content creation, and social media management, Kelli takes a hands-on approach to ensure every client feels supported and confident. Her passion lies in crafting strategies that deliver measurable results, empowering businesses to grow and thrive. When she’s not behind the computer, you can catch her behind her stove cooking up a homemade meal, or in the mountains on her skis.
Our Experience and How We Got Here
We work as agency representatives and a marketing managers, giving a unique understanding of the client-agency relationship.

While I worked at a large, corporate agency, I became fascinated with digital marketing, SEO in particular. Everyone would come to me asking me to clarify things about title tags, the “how” behind SEO, etc. – I was the on-site digital marketing encyclopedia.

Then I had the opportunity to become a marketing manager for a client I had worked with through the agency. I started working with the agency I had worked for, and one thing became apparent reasonably quickly – big agencies and small businesses don’t mesh.

So, I did what any respectable nerd would do, and I got my SEO for WebMasters Certificate, trained myself on social media and SEO software, and started Star Strategy Marketing.
